Assemblies and school performances
School assemblies are a way of coming together to share key messages and stories, to celebrate successes and to enjoy performances.
We have a variety of different assemblies during the week: Key Stage assemblies, singing assemblies and whole school celebration assemblies.
In addition children get to present their own class assemblies to the rest of the school and their parents.
Parents also join us for celebration assemblies.
Our assemblies programme focuses each half-term on one of our school values - The Bincombe Bees. In addition , we focus on annual events such as:
- Anti-Bullying Week
- Safer Internet Day
- Black History month
- Remembrance
- World Book Day to name but a few.
School Performances
Each year the children perform a production at Christmas and at the end of the school year.
Our Christmas productions are:
- Reception and Key Stage 1 Nativity
- Reception and Key Stage 1 Christingle
- KS2 carol concert
At the end of each year, Year 6 children perform a production of a musical.
